Personal Salvation or Global Redemption
This message takes us back to that pivotal moment in Luke 24 when Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection. We discover that Christ's first words to His confused and overwhelmed followers were 'Peace be unto you.' What a profound reminder that even in our most turbulent seasons, Jesus comes to bring peace. But He didn't stop there. Jesus opened their understanding of Scripture, grounding them in the truth that His suffering, death, and resurrection were all part of God's redemptive plan. Then came the commission that would change history: preach repentance and forgiveness of sins to all nations, starting right where they were in Jerusalem. This message challenges us to recognize that we too are witnesses of what Christ has done in our lives. We have experienced His forgiveness personally, and that experience calls us to commitment. The statistics shared are sobering: 2 billion people live in frontier unreached people groups with virtually no gospel presence, and 40 percent of the world's population lives in unreached areas where the church is too small to reach its own people. The question confronts us directly: Will we go all in? Through prayer, giving, and going, we can participate in God's global mission to bring the message of repentance and forgiveness to every people group on earth.
