Herald of the Lamb
This powerful message invites us to look beyond the manger scene and embrace the full scope of Christ's redemptive work. While we celebrate the miraculous incarnation—God entering Mary's womb through the Holy Spirit—we're challenged not to stop there. The journey from Bethlehem leads us to Calvary's cross, where blood flowed for our purification, and then to the empty tomb where victory was won. We're reminded of the beautiful imagery in Psalm 24, where angels watch in wonder as a man with holes in His hands and feet approaches heaven's gates—the Captain of our salvation returning in triumph. The message draws a stunning parallel between the Holy Spirit hovering over darkness at creation and hovering over Mary to bring forth the Light of the World. This Christmas season, we're called to see the complete picture: the babe in the manger came with a mission to reconcile us to the Father, and that mission was accomplished through sacrifice, resurrection, and ascension. The incarnation isn't just a beautiful story—it's the beginning of our redemption, the start of God's plan to bring us back into communion with Him, reversing what was lost in the Garden of Eden.
